The K18 circular route starts in the centre of San Bernardino and climbs up to Alpe Fracch with a moderate difference in altitude, and then continues on the hairpin bend path that leads first to Confin Bass and then to the junction for Alpe Vigon. It then continues with some ups and downs on the Bec de Muccia up to the San Bernardino Pass. You then face a final climb to the foot of the majestic Piz Uccello and then begin the descent through Pian Lumbrif and Acubona, until you return to the center of San Bernardino.

The K6 path, on the other hand, leads from the village to the San Bernardino Pass through Pian Cales and Alp de Vignun, and then continues to the summit of Piz Uccello. The route faces a positive elevation gain of 1100 meters in six kilometers, but rewarded by an incredible view of the Mesolcina Valley once you reach the top. To return, take the same road.
