A fairly challenging route that takes about six hours to complete. The trailhead is located at the San Bernardino Hot Spring. Then continue to the Bosch di Pescion area and climb up to Pian Lumbrif (1854 m) and from here, following the path on the right, go up to Cassina de Vignun (2115 m), a hut used by shepherds during the mountain pasture period, and after an hour reach Strec de Vignun. To do so, one traverses the entire valley, visible in all its magnificence thanks to the many panoramic views towards the San Bernardino basin, the Rheinwaldhorn group, Pizzo Uccello and Pizzo Tambo. A steep descent of more than 500 meters of elevation gain leads to Alp de Rog (1810 meters) and the Graubünden village of Nufenen by following the only trail along the Areuabach River.
