An enchanting bike route that offers panoramic views of the village of San Bernardino and its surroundings. The view sweeps from the village below to the mountains, and up to the landscape of the pass to the north: the pyramidal Pizzo Uccello, the emblematic mountain of San Bernardino, accompanies bikers along the entire route. Ride along the green slopes of Pian Cales, to the soothing sound of grazing cows. If you want to take a break, you can take advantage of the Alp de Pian Doss, an alpine restaurant with a rustic charm where you can enjoy a wide variety of typical dishes of Swiss Alpine cuisine. Then the descent towards the small lake of the same name begins, an oasis of peace that gives the impetus for the last climb. This leads to one of the most important peat bogs in the southern Alps, from which – weather permitting – it is possible to see the ruins of the Castle of Mesocco. Back in the village, you can finally relax with a good refreshing drink in one of the many refreshment points in the village center.
