The bike tour from San Bernardino to San Vittore passes through a wide variety of landscapes and offers cyclists a complete immersion in the natural beauty of the region. Once you leave the village, you cycle through pastures and coniferous forests, with magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Among the other points in favor of this trail, the absence of climbs is definitely not a factor to be ignored. In fact, the path gradually loses altitude, taking cyclists from 1608 meters in San Bernardino to 278 meters in San Vittore. It is interesting to observe the changes in the flora and fauna as you descend: the alpine verticalities give way to softer slopes, the streams to gentle rivers, the marmots to the squirrels. Following the bed of the Moesa river, you then cross the Misox Valley – known above all for its imposing waterfalls and its peaceful character – to the valley floor.
